Anyways, I am having a hard time finding time to work out. I have limited myself to three times a week. I need to start working out at a consistent basis. Otherwise, I would start gaining weight again. http://www.onetri.com
10/20/2006 Update...

Well, I started my new position in Assent Trading. However, I found out that day trading is really not an easy thing to do, since there is alot of stress involved in the bid/ask spread. If your pick goes down ten cents, then you pretty much lost most of your gains for the day. Anyways, my training routine is messed up because I have to wake up around 5 in the morning and get to the office by 6:30. The only time I ran a mile was on Tuesday. I need to start doing more aerobic exercises so I can increase my metabolism.
Oct. 13th Update...

Well, I lost 5 lbs within a month, which is good for a fact. Anyways, I really feel better now that I lost 35-40 lbs of body fat within a year's time. I feel more energetic and want to accomplish more things in life. On a side note, bI realize that working a regular 9-5 job that will lead me nowhere finally made sense. I am now on the path to find a position where I can utilize my skills and advance to a better position within a 5-7 year timespan. Besides that tangent, my next goal is to get rid of that "donut" that has haunted me throughout my life. It's also the one that most people have when their diets become too unhealthy. I need to research different types of exercises and need to start walking as much as I did when I was in college. Also, I need to start swimming some more in addition to cycling.

09012006...

I can't believe I only exercised two times this week. It feels like I'm going to lose a little strength. Much of the time is contributed to working to make ends meet. I've been looking at Competitor magazine and there is alot of events going on. The only problem is that I have is that NFL season is up.

08282006 Progress...

Last week, I didn't have that much time to exercise. I have been busy with work and other errands for the house. Hopefully, I have time to play racquetball and run a mile or two this week. Also, I took the Labor Day Weekend off my work since there isn't that much activity going on. I can't wait for the Newport Beach Triathlon that's coming up for next month. I'm very much excited about the future triathlons that are coming up in the near future.

08212006 My First Triathlon...

On Saturday, I went with my boss, Jerry, and two other coworkers to the Camp Pendleton Triathlon in San Diego. The triathlon was pretty enriching since I have never been to one before. I've been to a marathon in the past but not a triathlon. I can understand why it is hard to complete the triathlon. Some participants lost valuable equipment such as rubber to a bike wheel or an energy gel. The first through third place finalists finished the race in around 1.15 hrs. Another thing that I observed was the transition room. The guy who was in fourth place would have been first would it not been for the time that he took at the transition room. I would like to learn how to efficiency use my time in the transition room so that I would not end up in 4th place. Also, the course itself is way smaller than an actual triathlon. 'Til next time.

08142006

Well, I just found out that I cannot swim, which is unfortunately bad btw. I need to set my goal of learning to swim a half mile distance within six months. Anyways, this will be one of my more priority goals.

08072006 Exercises Galore...

Well, I got invited to three triathlons for next month. I am very excited that I will be observing my first triathlon on September 10th. Hopefully within the next year or so, I will able to finish a triathlon. I still have to invest in a good bike (which I have to do some research on). I haven't biked for 7 years so I have to get used to the rhythm and speed. My biggest challenge would be swimming, since I am very weak at. I have an advantage of a community pool in my complex. I can practice swimming in the shallow end first and learn how to float. My only strength would have to be running, which I need to increase my endurance. So far, I can run 5 laps around the indoor track consecutively before I got exhausted.

I am glad that I am in a better shape than last year when I weighed 195lbs this very same month. I used to love junk food and order the extra large meals from McDonalds, Carl's Jr., Wendy's, Burger King, and various fast food restaurants. At the beginning of my freshmen year in college, I weighed 155 lbs. I didn't do any cardio exercises and made excuses to NOT hit the gym, whether it would be school, video games, or pure laziness. That's HOW I ballooned to 195lbs. With the help of several friends, I started to modify my diet and workout. Along with the weigh lifting routine, I incorporated more cardio exercises into my workout. Slowly but surely, I started losing weight and inches around my waist month by month. This month, I weigh around 165 lbs and feel better about myself. I don't feel tired easily when I was at 195lbs.

My next goal is to lose 15-20 lbs by the end of the year and run 2 miles consecutively. Another goal is to learn how to swim efficiently. My final goal is to get back into cycling so I can start racing a triathlon.

07/31/2006 Progress Report....

It's amazing though how much weight I have lost despite the majority of my diet consisting of fast food for the past three months. I really need to start cooking in order to substitute for some of my fast food. My first priority goal is STILL to decrease my weight. My current weight is at 170 lbs. I am hoping to decrease my weight to 155 by the end of the summer. My next goal is to trim 2 inches out my waist so I can wear medium-sized T-Shirts. Hopefully, I can start running again to increase my metabolism. On the other hand, I maxed out at 175lbs on the bench.

07/27/2006 Working out...

I feel great that my energy and workouts have increased. I still have not started running a mile a day on the treadmill but I must be disciplined enough to do so.
