11212006 Entry...

I'm slowly adjusting to the working world.  After all, I had to adjust from academia for the past six years. Anyways, I am having a hard time finding time to work out.  I have limited myself to three times a week.  I need to start working out at a consistent basis.  Otherwise, I would start gaining weight again.   http://www.onetri.com

10/20/2006 Update...

Well, I started my new position in Assent Trading.  However, I found out that day trading is really not an easy thing to do, since there is alot of stress involved in the bid/ask spread.  If your pick goes down ten cents, then you pretty much lost most of your gains for the day.  Anyways, my training routine is messed up because I have to wake up around 5 in the morning and get to the office by 6:30.  The only time I ran a mile was on Tuesday.  I need to start doing more aerobic exercises so I can increase my metabolism.

Oct. 13th Update...

Well, I lost 5 lbs within a month, which is good for a fact.  Anyways, I really feel better now that I lost 35-40 lbs of body fat within a year's time.  I feel more energetic and want to accomplish more things in life. On a side note, bI realize that working a regular 9-5 job that will lead me nowhere finally made sense.  I am now on the path to find a position where I can utilize my skills and advance to a better position within a 5-7 year timespan.  Besides that tangent, my next goal is to get rid of that "donut" that has haunted me throughout my life.  It's also the one that most people have when their diets become too unhealthy.  I need to research different types of exercises and need to start walking as much as I did when I was in college.  Also, I need to start swimming some more in addition to cycling.

I can't believe I only exercised two times this week.  It feels like I'm going to lose a little strength.  Much of the time is contributed to working to make ends meet.  I've been looking at Competitor magazine and there is alot of events going on.  The only problem is that I have is that NFL season is up.

08282006 Progress...

Last week, I didn't have that much time to exercise.  I have been busy with work and other errands for the house.  Hopefully, I have time to play racquetball and run a mile or two this week.  Also, I took the Labor Day Weekend off my work since there isn't that much activity going on.  I can't wait for the Newport Beach Triathlon that's coming up for next month.  I'm very much excited about the future triathlons that are coming up in the near future.
